Major changes this week: added training in animation control settings with one hand and added a new function of compression control traffic for each application.
ContactFixed incorrect display of birthday for the imported contacts; Fixed cases where multiple pressing the number in the call log led to its repeated set.

    Only 1 bug so far. Other end cannot receive our voice during incoming call. Otherwise, this is the most polished Rom for daily use.

    Sorry for taking your time. Could you please share the exact same steps to flash this rom, as i haven't yet flashed the kitkat kernel. So, do I have to flash the 5.5.1 zip only, or flash it and then install the kitkat kernel too?

      Awesome ROM! I was having some problems with the Accelerometer and Proximity sensor on the MIUI v6 5.3.20 from XDA, But this MIUI v6 5.5.1 fixed the problems! Now I can enjoy this awesome ROM!

      A minor bug is there, that is, my SIM is from Airtel, but in the notification bar above, the sim name "airtel" is not there! There's a number instead, but I can call, send SMS and use Airtel Internet normally, so that's not a big deal! Awesome work, thanks! I was looking for this!

    Hi I installes this ROM on my phone. It's working fine, no problems, but due to Xolo q800' s limited 1 GB internal storage, it's impossible to keep large games such as asphalt 8 and vice city in internal. Also, when I try to install the data( obb) of the Apps on SD card, they don't work! I have tried various methods( like WSM tools, Foldermount, etc) but none works. Can anyone help how to keep Apps on SD in MIUI v6 5.5.1?

      Bro if u want to increase the internal storage up to 2.5 gb we can do it with repartition tools it is there in blog only are make default install location and default write disk location as sd card in settings

      I installed 5.5.1 on my MyPhone NEXT (polish alternative to Xolo Q800, Fly IQ446). I encountered two problems. The first is related to service calls. when someone calling me or I am trying to reach someone the screen flickers and goes black blocking the choice of options, eg. switching on speaker. The second problem relates to Camera. The photos are of poor quality. Green color dominates on them. The problem is also with video recording. Also colors are incorrectly interpreted and the device goes crazy when the lens reaches too much light. Device can't set correct exposure. Besides this I have not noticed problems. I can't wait when everything will work to use this software permanently.

    Service Provider name can be edited under - Settings -> Notfications -> Edit service provider name.

    But the only problem now is - Ringing Tone volume is very low even after keeping it at Max, not at all audible at Outdoors.
    Ringing tone starts after 4 or 5 rings.

    Please help.

    Is anybody facing problem that phone saves everything in internal memory like whatsapp image, videos, audios... downloads, intagram images, zedge downloads etc...
    If anyone knows solution for this then please tell me steps for it...

      This may happen when you are flashing LATEST MIUI 5.5.1 V6 as fresh rom. internal and external storage will get reversed. thats why this happens. Try flashing the second patch from the link. This will fix the problem.

      U need to flash the disable internal zip to install all apps in external sd bro so when u going to flash the another rom again u can get the internal storage by flashing the enable sd zip

    I want to install miui 6 5.7.9
    I tried to install it but “error executing updater binary in zip”
    Shows and install fails.
    Now how can i fix this error.
